He

He keeps dragging me down,

to where a cry for help doesn't make a sound.

He has taken my mind,

it is so far gone I’ll never be able to find.

The peace I was searching for,

only find the pain that breaks me to my core.

The darkness that takes all the good that remains inside,

every piece that was supposed to keep my mind right has died.

He will keep going until he takes every piece of me that is there,

he has taken it all without a care.

I started writing poetry around age 12, there will be a mixture of aged and new poems. I was inspired to share by Leslie and my partner in life Joel, 2 of my biggest supporters; Love you two!
