He and She
He said he likes her
She secretly likes him
He has many things in common with her
She is only the friend
He confesses and gets rejected
She is there to comfort him
He thanks her and gives her a long hug
She becomes weak, wishing to never let go
He still thinks about her, but he's okay
She still thinks about him, but she's not okay
He playfully teases her one day,
She blurts out she likes him
He is shocked
She is shocked
He talks as if nothing happens
She goes with it, relieved
He then gently rejects her
She continues her friendship with him
A little heartbroken,
But that's okay,
She is only the friend
