He did it


He lied to me constantly
He hurt me day after day
Why did he do this to me?
Who the hell knows.                                                                                                                         Maybe for his own happiness?
Maybe just to do it
To show his friends he was “cool”
He did it possibly as a cruel joke

But he did it
He did it on a daily basis
If not in reality,
In my dreams

To this day he still does it
Only in my dreams now.
He puts me down
He calls me names

He did it
