he is killing me

you are a fire breathing dragon

you are cancer

you are disease

you are the scar

that never seems to leave

you are the punches

and i am the bag

you are the one

that captures the flag

you are always in the back

of my head

the head i lay on my bed

you are the tears

that i constantly shed

you are the words

i wish i had left unsaid

you are the clothes

that hang on me like thread

you are all the monsters

hiding under my unmade bed
