He Made It
Admire at this beautiful little boy
In his innocent ways playing with his toy
Incoherent with the realization of hardships that he will face
The only way he manages to get by is with God's grace
He wants to have the oppurtunity to succeed
To provide for the family that he plans to feed
He doesn't want to walk around the streets trying to sell weed
From his entity his emotions are beginning to bleed
Like a bellboy he carries the stress of those around him
Never recollecting this hardship with any of them
Those cold dispriting days he contemplated if he would make it
When he was overcome with stress he always knew he could fake it
He imagines walking upon that stage, gleaming at that symbollic hand, so he can shake it
In all of this turmoil, he can finally exclaim "I MADE IT"
He can shuffle all the worrying to his backside
With a Baylor acceptance, he managed his first stride
Now he can finally feel his importance in the world is magnified
Never has he imagined he could be this confident
This beautiful image of God is now dominant
Those that once denied him, were ready to fight him
Because this collegiate now has self-pride
And he will never again be denied
He faces the struggles of being a math major
Instead he proclaims that he WILL be a math major
He is going to succeed in his life
He will have the most glorious of wives
All while staying true to his life
And in the most glorious of ways
He will never forget where he came from, the good old days
