He Makes Me Flawless

I am not flawless. Not on my own. I try and try to perform and smile and be flawless. It doesn’t always work. But then, a sweet voice breaks into my inner chaos and I am reminded: He is flawless. I don’t have to strive for perfection, always grasping for a prize that is just out of reach. He is flawless, and yet He died. I don’t have to hide my pain or my frustration. He is flawless, and yet He died for me. He makes me flawless. I don’t have to perform, because Jesus paid the price. His sacrifice gives me righteousness. And I can be flawless.
