He is Me

Young and at times naive, a little boy is lost in a world where chaos runs. Constantly in motion and never ending. He is alone and afraid in the world that surrounds him. He would consider himself as an outcast, but more importantly a thinker who's mind is always running rampant with new ideas. This side of him feeds off the chaos. A wild kid at heart it's almost hard to keep up with his goofy spirit. But there's a quiet side to him. Developed as a child he was always lonely. He didn't had much friends and usually played by himself with no one to enjoy it with. He always hoped someone would play with him which never happened until his teen years. At first during his youth years, he was always trying to find that one friend who he calls 'true'. Sharing stories and helping each other's dark times, but still to this day there hasn't been that one friend who would be by his side. Even though he didn't find that someone, those who he did find, he cherished their friendship more than anything. This was the closest thing to family he can get. Spending time alone he didn't understand the world around him. He was never close to those who are blood. No father to guide him. No mother to love him. He sought to find a mentor to teach him what his blood has failed him. Love is a foriegn word in his vocabulary. He never experienced what love really is. So now for the past 20 years he's finally realizing he won't find the true meaning of love. He has accpeted loneliness in his life even though he'd tried to find a path out of it. What he does know is saddnes, anger, happiness, but never love. Those who are blood percieved love as buying materialistic wants for him. He fell into despair multiple times, but has risen back to fight it off even if he falls back into the pit. 20 years later he has grown up trying to find inner peace between his quiet and wild side. Even though he knows he will live the rest of his life by himself, he still loves helping others. Other's happiness is what keeps him going to make their life better even if his has fallen. Known as a caregiver, he is me.
