He never hits you but this hurts more
Having the bruises of his spite creates hollow hearts
Carved into your bones as if you were a tree on this earth for nothing but his use. Your dark flesh and sweet innards used for pulp.
Maybe that's why when your bones ache and your fingers cramp it feels as if all of your deep roots are being pulled apart and stretched.
No one will believe you.
Unlike a tree the heart shaped carvings are all inside of you.
Who listens to a tree?
