He Really Cared
"He really cared about you
More than anyone else"
Those words ring in my ears
I felt the bump in my throat rising
Threatening to escape at any second
Pressing it down, I thought of you
My him, my best friend
Gone before life even began
A special type of love
Never before felt
In three years you became my life
In seconds you were taken away
Like being stripped bare in winter
and thrown into the storm
Your voice no longer lingers in my ears
Only your face haunts my dreams
I knew it was true
We had been special
In three years you became my life
You left an imprint on me
Forever unchanging
I truly love you forever,
My Ally
My best friend
My brother
