He Said That He Loved Me

He said he loved me He said that he cared He said he would love me more than could ever share But he hit me then and I found the cold truth that our love was not there and there was no truce I begged and plead for his mercy to find the pain sting me once more So I escape with my life in the dead of night To find someone to help me I finally found someone who is true and I just know he is one I hope I can forget it the memories of my one lost love
