He Saves Us

Here I never knew

Always saw but never came true

A dream of restless wind

And of dying seasons

I spot a drift near the horizon

I’m running nearer

I’m always falling

I flip that switch

My head gets hit

I’m unconscious

I wake up to you

You were there when I fell

You took me from my hell

With you I flew to heaven

Jesus only knows why I’m let in

He drew me away from my sin

He took me torn

He took me after the fall

He sent me up all the way to Zion

The Lion always sees

The King of the jungle is roaring

Always on the hunt for souls

Saving where your standing

His grace is without match

He brings the troubled out the cold

He warms them with his love

He take us in and he clothes us

Jesus frees us from our sin

His cross to bear the burden

His wounds and his scars
