HE SAW
He saw
The window in my milk teeth
My slender body
Glistening and glittering curled blondy hair
On my goldly head.
He saw
For he stole glances
Which met
My broad enchanting smiles
On my dangling face.
He saw
My elegant look
From my round scintillating pupils
For my eyes lacked sympathy for his soul
And his heart was taken to captive.
He saw
A rose
Among the cactus
And he wanted to feel
Its buttered petals
But his hands slowed
And flinched
That he wasn’t able again to touch.
He saw a dove
And he wanted to say even a word to it
But only mumbling was the song
With fear and trembling
His manhood was no more.
He saw
But he wished
That he could.
