He saw you
He saw you.
He didn’t see the girl in the hoodies.
He saw the girl in t-shirts completely comfortably with yourself.
He didn’t see the girl in the thick nerdy black glasses.
He saw the girl who even though you’re intelligent you’re also funny.
He didn’t see the girl with hair that was constantly in your face.
He saw the girl with your cute half up half down with a vibrant smile.
He didn’t see the pathetic usual ‘im sorry’.
He saw the apologetic and understanding girl.
He didn’t see the random crazy panic attack during class.
He saw the girl afterwards when he calms you down and makes you laugh.
He didn’t see the weak girl always crying.
He saw the strength behind the tears of the girl he held to his chest.
He didn’t see a loud and annoying person when talking.
He saw the passion behind every single word.
He didn’t see the depressed and dangerously harmed girl.
He saw the strong and ambitious and humble girl.
He saw you.
He didn’t see the dark you because even though he knew how your life is.
He saw the girl behind all the sadness and tried to break you out of that dark shell with love and laughter.
And when he succeeded.
He saw you.
The you I should’ve tried to see before he showed up.
Because now I’m to late.
Because not only does he see you.
He sees the love in your eyes that you used to have for me.
