He Vanished

He vanished, disappeared…

like he never said he would,

My stomach in knots, my world in a storm.

He was supposed to stay and fight with me…

Instead, he…

Vanished, disappeared,

Abandoning me in my darkest hour.

Left me with no hand to hold

Dyeing on a table with strangers looking over me.

My heart stopped,

He was ever really here?

I live only to find my body a mess, killing itself slowly with no answers as to why.

He just watched me in silence, never blinking an eye.

But before I could reach out my hand he was gone..

vanished, disappeared without a reason why.

Hope was abandoned that night, I found myself crying on the floor, could barely move. He was really gone, never to return again.
