He was Love
Location
Two hundred and thirty-two miles and four hours
The world seems so stretched on these two feet
He was forever
and when I was with him
Time was a concept only my worries could comprehend
When I saw him
He was nothing less than love
Pink auras that wrapped around me
Hushing my worries, my thoughts farther away
All those bitter nightmares turned to sweet golden dreams
There are thousands of realities
and when I see him
There’s a thousand more
Filled with love, hope, and kindness
A world of mine happier to have him alive

You use such strong imagery in this poem, especially in the lines "Pink auras that wrapped around me / Hushing my worries, my thoughts farther away," that give the poem a surreal dream-like tone. Have you ever written a cinquain poem? I think your writing skills would be great for that type of poem! Check out how to write one and more in the Resources section.
