He was sad, So was

He was sad, So was she

She lost Everyone, So did he

They cried and wept, Coped and fought

they commited crimes and were caught

Behind bars they then sat

Cried no more wept no more

Because their faith was as small as a gnat

She served a few years, So did he

He was lost, So was she

They looked everywhere to find their way

When they met by chance or fate that day

They talked and walked through a park

Listened to the cry of a meadow lark

They met again and again until they knew

Their lives would be incomplete without you

He was devoted, So was she

She said yes, So did he

He dressed in black, She dressed in white

They were married, It was a beautiful site
