He watched her dance,she


He watched her dance,

she twirled on her toes,

and leapt through the air.

He had no idea the strength it took,

the pain that made her heart give way.

 

Then she fell,

like a broken doll,

her legs crumbled beneath her,

and she didn't even let out a cry.

 

In ran up to the stage,

an tried to help her up,

but she only smiled and pressed his hand to her heart and said:

"This is what it feels like to be in love."
