He Waters My Garden
Cherokee roses for the wildflower in me, rustling above my Boholano roots that borne me
I alone slept still in my barren garden with lovely wonder
I hold my tongue as you draw my attention with the spell you hypnotized me under
You grew sun-kissed tulips where the dirt once slept, quenching my drought in the field where I had once wept
And I gaze into your sunflower eyes and I search for deceit but I only find goodness and pureness and indiscreet
patience and tender and loving care, all my thoughts melt as you run your fingers through my coconut palm-scented hair
You evolve my wallflower into bombastic petals, and you mend orchids where my insecurities settle
and covered sweet, sweet nectar surrounding our bodies outside and within
You kiss me and baby's breath breeze envelops our skin
