The Head of Earth

Earth is, yes, the place we live,

But also so much more.

The rainforests, so lush, green and wet

Are the sweat beads of everlasting pour.

The deserts, so dry and annoying,

Are the rashes we cannot bear.

The mountains, beautiful and tall

Are the ever growing hair.

And we, the people, here on earth,

Are the obnoxious lice that never leave.

Although, we know our heads are laid

When we all pass away.

What does this mean for the head of earth?

When will its head be laid?
