Headphones

Sometimes I wish I could fly

Fly so high in the sky

that I can just get away

Get away from my life

Everyday I wish, that my feet

can jump to the clouds

and I never have to come back

and I can just watch people pass by

Living their own lives while I’ll tell my own goodbye

But I’m stuck

I’m stuck in a world where society plays the games

And your the victim

I’m stuck in a world where perfect is so unattainable

yet people still try to achieve it

I’m stuck in a world

where the anger , frustration , and jealousy

can build up

And where people turn to take their own lives

Just to feel content inside ...

OH MY GOD ! .

But what I do to help with it all

Is that I put my headphones on

And I simply block it out

They are my ticket to peace

My windows to freedom

They are apart of me .

And then I just take a deep breathe

And left life pass by one day at a time
