Headspace

My feet squish and sink

into the golden grains, of a distant land.

I find myself here,

again

mentally, standing in the midst

of a vacant headspace.

I question,

thoughts

and feelings,

run

sink

and drown.

I realized,

I never learned to swim,

because I drown in the everyone's pain.

Suffocating me with their need to recieve,

I lay here wallowing in defeat.

The texture of fresh air salty like the

words coming out of a jelous mouth,

pierce my hair and thrash is against my silhouette.

I gaze into the midst,

the stars squint out their light

though the darkness of my mind.

They want to be heard, like my words,

but they are swallowed by your pride.

I'm here,

in attempt to digest your thick lies, in search for my meditation,

but my innocene is too strong

to maintain this rage.

So, I'm drawn back to this cage.

It's an abstract beach

darkness blankets the mind in concealed peace.

The roaring ocean softly laps at the brim of the shore,

reflecting the vacancy of night sky

and a sane mind no more.

And there, I lie,

on the grained land,

ruminating.

Again.
