Healer

He told me he was done with love
His entire heart turned to coal
He asked "Does anyone want to buy a heart?"
And I asked how much was it for his soul

He told me "Nothing, I swear I'll give it all to you for free
This passion for people that I have is going to end up killing me"

And so I told him that I'll take it, no I'll just borrow it infact
So after I care for it, nurture it, I can bring it right back

I'll plant it in some supportive soil and water it with faith
and I'll let the sun hit it just right, with its rays of God's grace

And everyday I'll feed it love, and strength and power
And in little time
you'll see that heart of coal was really a seed to a flower

A flower of pride,
a flower of hope,
a flower of unconditional love
You just had to let me shape it
so you could see what it was capable of

And as I promised, here you go,
your heart that was once in pieces
Now lives again,
carries passion that never ceases,
and has no limit to where its reach is.

You are whole again, restored, and can love to to full capacity
And if ever your soul flower withers
Know I'm a healer and bring it back to me.
