The Healer
The Man of Mind :
Recognized
By a snake-entwined
Stave.
The army doctor :
Asclepius.
The Healer :
Ophiuchus
One who snatches life,
From the jaws of Death.
Through years upon years,
Vanquishing mankind’s fears,
Whilst marching through the battlefield.
They waste away in their thoughts,
The fear of death, for naught.
Enemies he made,
In his many, glorious days.
Medals he’s earned,
For standing firm.
The sick were healed,
The injured were corrected,
The helpless were saved,
And the victims were raised.
Yet, every victim,
Has an Instigator.
And to help that victim,
Causes anger
In another.
Another Man of Mind :
Struck down the Healer.
And there, he laid.
And for once,
Asclepius lost to the Reaper
