Healing

Mirror Mirror on the wall, I want the truth, Bare it all. I'm requesting purest honesty, Show me just what others see. And Before my eyes a stranger stood To my surprise, wholly good. "You view yourself in blackest light, You fear your heart as dark as night You hang your head and walk in shame, And bear the weight of unearned blame. I've watched the struggle form the start, With each new tear on a shredded heart. A lesson learned when it had just begun, You must realize you can't please everyone."
