Healing?

once, twice, again

it's like we never learn

my mistakes are my own

not of another's concern

unwanted memories,

one day they will burn

only to haunt me and eventually return

undying feelings, too harsh dealings

this story goes forever,

floor to the ceiling

i might be down

but you'll never catch me kneeling

i'm an onion in the process of peeling ...

healing.
