Healing

Our mind is strong,

so where did i go wrong.

I let myself down,

and my mind did drown.

Our body wants to live!

Hovever, pain is all I could give.

I blamed my brain, as it had all the say.

No way for me to feel gay.

Till one day.

I awoke and felt okay.

Okay to live another day.

It turned out that my mind was not one to betray,

and not one to do harm.

Not I or others,

My mind needed me as much as I needed it.

Pain, trauma, anger, and all!

My mind and I have finally made peace,

and that has made all the difference.
