Healing of a Broken Heart

You never intended to stay with me You only gave up and ran away You never listened, it was always your way I use to imagine how we would be But I've given up on that silly dream I hold my head up each and every day Smiling, knowing everything is okay I won't go back to you, I guarantee I've left my whole past with you behind I've found someone better, one who truly cares He's the one I want to call mine Kindness, compassion, a pretty good pair Patience, understanding, just add to the mix He has stolen my heart, took it to fix
