Healing Times

They say time heals a broken heart

Slowly heavy days blend into thick dense mist

The darkness surrounds me pressing into me

Like to many covers on a restless bed

I try to shake off the heavyness that blocks a

Patchwork of anxiety and sorrow

I struggle to catch my breath a brisk intake of air

Awakens my sense's

I quickly toss away the smothering that chokes me

I lay awake and eye the guilt of my troubles

The ups and down's the blues and the sables of my sorrows

The heartache of my loss the stress and crimson anxiety of life

All but empty spaces awaiting new ventures those that frighten me

The most wondering what will fill them most

Sorrow completed with the deepest hues of passion and love

The earthy tones of home and family or is it all but a dream

Waiting to be filled

I drift into a deep sleep the future is mine
