Healing Words.
I write to release the demons that are living in my soul and paying no rent.
I write to showcase the expression I was witholding as a young child.
I write because my hands won't stop moving and my hearts pounds so heavily with
words that my mouth is too afraid to utter.
Writing is not just another taboo, writing isn't just a way of life.
It's the medicine I need.
The air I want.
The love I deserve.
The education I crave.
The substance I will literally die for.
My God gave me the writing ablilty to speak upon the nations.
To share my testimony about how I overcame depression, and hurt.
He gave me a pad and pencil and whispered, "Write."
I will write for the nations.
I will write for my people.
I write for the
insecure little girl
the disease stricken mother
teh deadbeat father
the drug dealer son
the hurting angels.
