the health care path
We have face what most people hope to never see their entire lives.
We have stood face to face with the dying, often times holding their hands.
We have felt the sting of death yet still continue down this path.
We have become hardened to people yet still answer the ever changing call.
And do so with compassion.
As we see the worst of the worst, we are expected to be the best of the best.
We leave home never knowing what the next call may be.
Never knowing how it all may end.
You never know what you will answer to.
You never know the age.
And you never know the circumstances.
