Health is Wealth

Health is wealth or so they say in the red, white, and blue of the U, S, of A. But out of every country in the world, America has the most obese boys and girls. Rather than working to treat the cause, the doctors are loyal to their interpretation of the laws. The true cure, they don’t want to admit, because then the pharmacies will not benefit. It’s time to wake up and smell the coffee; take a step back from the chocolates and the toffees. Diabetes and heart disease can mostly be prevented and the spike in illness, certainly dented. If we come together as a nation and let the government know our frustration. Education is step one if progress is to be made. You see, an apple a day should keep the doctor away. But it won’t do its job if it’s covered in pesticides and will increase our risk of cancer besides. Our toxic produce poisons us all. Our ancestors would certainly be appalled to see that organic is now labeled a luxury for tree huggers and liberals who think it’s a necessity. “You are what you eat” is prudent to follow, especially when there are GMOs in the snacks that you swallow. America doesn’t have to be known as fat. But we’re sabotaged right off the bat. The buck stops here. It is time. Let’s charge the guilty of the crime. “That’s kind of hard.” Somebody grumbles. Well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
