Healthy

You smile

but I'm not funny.

You cry

but I didn't hurt you.

You jump for joy

but I didn't buy you anything.

You seem so happy

but no one gave you anything.

No big announcement.

No raise at work.

You came through the door and instantly smiled.

I see you and I do the same.

Oh, I see...

You're healthy.

I'm healthy.

We are healthy together.

We want each other.

We need each other.

We please each other.

It's not because we want something.

It's because we love each other.
