Healthy is that Love

Patience extends arms Long like East is from the West Short silenced by love Kindness oozes peace Thick like Southern molasses Thin silenced by love Envy hides, unseen Smaller than a needle’s eye Large silenced by love Race to anger, slow The speed of a long winter Haste silenced by love Hastily forgives As with a hurricane’s speed Slow silenced by love No record of wrong Erased like receding waves Wrong silenced by love One’s self not seeking Their victory is your gain Self silenced by love Laughter fills the air Silencing burdens of life Sad silenced by love Love is the greatest Love as you hope to be loved Healthy is that love
