Healthy Relationship

We talk. We listen.

Those four words are important.

It seems simple enough.

Just we talk. We listen.

Recognize it's not just me or you but we.

As in we both communicate

As in we both share our feelings

No one is dominating in our relationship

We cannot feel trapped

Because we can use our words to lie out how we feel

And we listen

We don't lose track or miss a word that comes out of each other's mouth

We replay each other's word and face in our minds until we understand how we feel and take action.

We focus on each other because we want to fix what is wrong with us

We care about what is going on.

We care for us to be happy.

We don't sacrifice each other's pleasure

But we compromise.

Because we talk and we listen
