Hear Me Lord

Are you real?

Are you honestly here for me?

Always by my side?

Forever my shepherd guide?

My mom tells me to pray,

"Say whatchu gotta say".

So I get down on my knees

and to you I beg "Jesus please!"

Please help me through this day.

Please guide me along the way.

Please make me into the young woman

That I aspire to be.

Please be with my brother and his new family.

Please let me know that you are listening.

That my prayers go not in vain.

Please stop your children's bickering.

For this life is not a game.

Please give me a sign of hope

A sign of reassurance;

The devil will be defeated,

And we'll live life in sure abundance.
