Hear Me From the Puppy Mills!
Listen to Me for once in your life!
You don't know what this pain really feels like.
No one knows what I'm saying to you.
All you hear is a bark or two.
I lie neglected all day, every day.
You just treat me like I am a stray.
There's no food or water that will satisfy my needs.
No love or compassion, I'm just a slave you don't feed.
But here is some hope,
Are they angels I see?
They've come from the shelter,
They really take care of me.
I will go to a home, adopted out of love
By a family of fun, full of kisses and hugs.
They have plenty of kindness and affection.
I know I will never be abandoned.
This feels great and I wag my tail nonstop.
My eyes are bright and my ears perk up.
I will trust them and always believe
That they are the ones that have finally set my spirit free.
