The Heart

One day, feels like a year That never seems to end One tear, leads to more tears Continuing to fall, oh One breathe, withholds more breathes Hopefully not to cease One more hour here could end up being to long. So tired of the same routine One that always seems to change The only thing that stays the same Is the shattered tear of my heart. One month is all it takes To know one so well One mistake is all it Takes to disappear Thankfully, there is one God Who will set us free with One prayer, we need to pray to make our state change.
