Heart

It doesn't go away.
It never does.
That tightness in my chest,
Making it so hard to breathe.
Ever since that day,
That day that it all went away.
All that was good,
All that was great.
My happiness left me that day.
And to fill its space
Came the pain.
The muscles in my heart
Will never relax.
There is only pain now.
Everlasting, ever hurting pain.
