Heart

A heart born once of flame and hearth

Carried upon the wind of desire

Heartfelt tears water the empty plains

This heart cast astray

Hold the darkness closer

Keep the light away

Once this heart yearned for more

That was once in a day

Pass the day and caress the night

A heart is roiled in cries
