Heart

My heart has feelings for you, but do I? It seems like we’re two different people, One with a focus on physicality and one on emotions. Can we become one? Can you be the one to bring us together? Maybe my heart will finally be more than a part of me, but the part of me. “Listen to your heart”, well maybe now I will. I’m done with the one night stands, the worthless hookups, thinking it’s okay to make love on the first date. Not anymore, I’m ready for you. My heart and I, Or maybe I can just say Me.
