heart ache

Have you ever had your heart ache because you were in love

but you were in love with something that wasn't right

something that hurt and brought you down

yet was so good for specific moments.

it was better to turn away

yet it was so hard too becuase at first it was so so so good.

I'm wondering where it all went.

I'm wondering where it all turned.

We looked one another in the eyes and said we loved each other.

But its time to separate our ways

I wanted to get out of it.

I was just afraid of the pain.

I can't keep going back to something that hurt so much.

I can't keep running to and fro from things that mixed my heart around.

I'm wondering where things changed.

Or where things went.
