The Heart-Attack Kids

Weak souls break under pressure

And the strong take over life's lecture

The lecture of how the world turns

While civilization and humanity may burn.

We still live on as insensitive beasts

Cursing one another as we ruin their reputation.

Whispered words may be hard to hear

But fragil hearts are easy to seer.

We take what we want

We steal  what we must

And shatter what's left of others trust.

Care not for those that may hesitate

Run over those that we tend to hate

Take for granted the love that we have

And run for the life that's least inhabited.

We are rebels

Chasing our dreams in red cars on rusted cables

What is to be sought could be all for nought.

But we don't give up because we're stubborn to the core

And our wars will rage on till the earth bleeds from sores

Greed is the word that slips from

Our blood, crusted lips.

Our feet run bare over enemy lines

As we all ignore the worlds cautioning signs.

Take down the people that are quiet

Because they can't shout along in this massive riot!

We are all running wild

Screaming out words others may consider vile.

Rules are for those that tend to regret.

We all want to have fun

We watch the world fall apart as we run.

Throw down the heavy package of responsibility

Hide away in our words of secrecy

Push towards those fire infested war fields

Because our motivation for heart ack won't ever yield!

For we are the heart-attack kids.
