Heart Attack of Loneliness

Something calls beneath my veins

what's suppose to be quiet is now so loudly insane

I hear my pulse quickening as the beating drums

quicken faster to the searing sun

it's racing faster as I try to breathe

but it carries on

beat, beat, beat.

And the song resounds the same inside

as the drums march to the end of their stride

Speeding up, never slowing down

I cry in silence hoping to be found

When i fall, and i know i will

I hope to God that someone will hear

the weary silence of something that was

a living thing gone with a buzz.

And the song resounds the same inside

as the drums march to the end of their stride

Nothing compares to this lonely ache inside

because i know not anyone who cares to reside

over my body trembling with fear.

And the song resounds the same inside

as the drums march to the end of their stride

My drum grows louder the faster it beats

making my breaths' grow shallow underneath

Like the pressure of air filling in a balloon

it will soon pop, realeasing the air filled in this monsoon.

And the song resounds the same inside

as the drums march to the end of their stride

As the beats decrease in pace alas

the inches to my death will soon escalade fast

and if there is no one there to stop this mess

my beating heart will soon dissolve into the silence that will remain

in this empty house that holds not a single picture frame.

And the song resounds the same inside

as the drums march to the end of their stride.
