Heart of Beauty

Beauty- how does one descirbe

Must you wait until something is ripe?

A peacock, a zebra, a lion are they not all a majestic sight

What does it take to win your heart on sight?

Is it adding make-up, perfume, and the perfect skinny jean?

Or is it more like something that goes unseen?

Like the beauty of your heart deep down

And the glow of your smile all around.

I'll tell you once

Don't be a dunce

All you need is the true beauty on the inside

You don't need make-up and cool clothes to hide

Because it doesn't change who you are if you look like a dime

So just be your beautiful self all the time
