The Heart of Color

Swirled skies of gray, Drooping trees of red, Stunning fields of gold. Harsh is the crunch of colored leaves. Dull is the sun in the sky. Crisp is the cool autumn air. High in the mountains the first snows fall. Deep are the shadows that linger on the ground. Heat only seems to be in the bright colors of the trees. Stained is the sky with dark shades. Down goes the sun, followed by the rise of the moon. Startling is the view of the world in color.
