Heart on Fire

When I look within, I look within my heart

To find a true work of art 

When someone tells me one thing

My heart says another

The world and my heart are constantly at war with each other

My love for others will not be restrained

In my heart is a fire that cannot be contained

Though small and insignificant the heart may be 

It has an undenying strength anyone can see

Try to stop the heart if you desire

But you can never stop a heart on fire
