The Heart Has Needs

My heart speaks to me with deep emotion...

Saying let me love, let me breathe

But the one thing it's mourning for the most is .... Assurance

And yet after everything I've been through I...

I just can't give it what it craves

Does this make me any less of a person?

It's like my heart and soul are chasing after something that doesn't even exist...

I feel like I'm just sinking in quick sand, but it's too late for me to be pulled out.

How am I supposed to live with the fact that I don't even have assurance in my life?

I can't ignore the truth

My life is complete, yet empty at the same time and the sad part of it all is that there isn't anything I can do about it...

I feel lost... Help me.
