Heart Healthy
The components of a healthy relationship
Actually, it's the most difficult thing to understand
It's not just skin to skin contact,
It's the support of your lover that helps you get up and stand.
It's the fact that your equality is known between the two of you,
It's exact.
It's using your lover as a metaphor,
To make it easier to describe how that one special person is able to keep you in tact.
"He's my rising sun."
"She's my glowing star."
It's not just waking up in the morning and saying,
"Mornin', hun."
It's about communicating and being there for them, no matter how far.
It's not saying anything, because they already know,
How much they mean to you, there's not enough adjectives to sew.
He loves, she loves
Their hands match like gloves.
Their love is a balance beam
They hold each other when they're breaking at the seams
A healthy relationship doesn't include layers.
It's exposed, raw, and bare.
You can see through them with a glance, no need to stare.
They're your home, and you're theirs.
Love is royalty and your hearts are it's regal heirs.
A healthy relationship is love.
Anything less than is hate, it will destroy you,
Anything more than is heaven sent down from above.
Love knows no grey. No second path.
Just one soul plus another soul
Do the math.
