Heart, Let Go Of His Finger
Heart !, heart ! do you hear me ?,
Sometimes I feel like you don't.
Do you even love me or is it all a joke ?
You leave me be chained on his wall;
I don't hear a beat when I beg and when I call.
The burning sensation I feel on my skin,
As I turn red of embarrassment for my wrong decisions.
I take cold baths to ease the pain, seems like it's not fading away.
Sway to the sound of the pounding of my heart beat
And the drip drop of tears cascading down my cheeks.
You pump more blood through my veins to the fist holding on to his chains,
That wants to let go and descend from the betray.
I no longer want to feel this heart attack.
Heart, I would like to look at you with hatred in my eyes,
How I despise how you disguise empathy in your lies.
And so i’m a tic toc away from telling you my feelings.
A tic tic toc away from being unwrapped under your gullibility.
A tic tic toc away from explaining to you why it’s so hard for him to ever love you.
Tic toc heart this is the unfathomable reality.
