Heart-melt

Sunset snuck into my daydream Struck out my shine, kryptonite to my day like Melting superman ice cream. Molten flares collided with the winter blankets and the sky was scarlet. My lovers' dream was deliquesced by a hot death in a few winter minutes. Dripping hot, and real, like a dark grey acid on my rainbow snow cone. I cast my gaze to our burning, setting sun, My eyes had become wider than they had ever been, my changes had begun. Now, my tongue is sharp from temperament. My heart is dense and warped from wear. Smarter now, my marred brain, to daydream, alone, at night. And face the days with a heavy head and brand new eyes. My fragile snowflake heart endured the fires of goodbye, yet ornate edges did reform. I cry. Refrozen; resigned. Compact, clean, convenient, icy curves. A hunk: A heart? Am I blessed now, to be aware? or scarred? To have my heart melted, sucked and readjusted? Or scared?
